From September 17 to 19 the international artistic perfumery returns to Florence to present the latest news

From Friday, September 17 to Sunday, September 19, 2021, Pitti Fragranze will be back at the Stazione Leopolda, the event that brings the leading names in the industry to Florence to discuss new trends and the increasingly topical link between fragrances and lifestyle.

"Fragranze will be the first event in the sector to return after the long forced hiatus," said Agostino Poletto, director general of Pitti Immagine. "In recent months we have worked to offer international perfumery professionals a physical edition in total safety and a unique experience, which will delve into the novelties of a selection of about 140 brands from around the world, including established maisons and innovative realities, immersed in an elegant and refined atmosphere."

Pitti Fragranze returns to present artistic perfumery, market trends and the most contemporary olfactory culture with a series of events and special projects, presented by Pitti Immagine and the brands participating in the fair.

A globally recognized talent, author of best-selling perfumes, Ralf Schwieger is the special guest of this edition, with a retrospective - Ralf Schwieger A Retrospective
- curated by Chandler Burr, one of the world's leading perfume experts and artistic director of Fragranze. Ralf Schwieger's olfactory masterpieces, from 1999 to the present day, together with the various suggestions of his works are presented in an experiential installation in the spaces of the Stazione Leopolda, and in an unmissable conversation/interview conducted by Chandler Burr (Friday, September 17, 4:00 pm Spazio Conferenze), which recounts Schwieger's most important collaborations and his favorite raw materials.

From the meeting of tradition and innovation, MANE reinvents the historic technique of Enfleurage - one of the oldest methods of extraction, used to extract fragrances from flower petals - and offers a new range of 100% natural extracts, which will be the protagonists of this edition of RAW, the format of Pitti Fragranze that gives space to the most important raw materials of perfume, and provides a valid green alternative to classic extractions.

Among the scheduled events - Saturday, September 18, 12:00 noon Spazio Conferenze - is The GurīnTalk: La libertà nello sbaglio (Freedom in error), a conversation to discover the infinite possibilities that arise from a creative stumble. The stylist, architect and designer Gentucca Bini and the botanist, landscape architect and writer Antonio Perazzi will give life to a meeting in which they will share their respective experiences in the field of fashion and gardening, with the aim of suggesting to the public of exhibitors and experts of Fragranze a different approach to the storytelling of high perfumery.
