Via Giosuè Carducci, 61 - Forte dei Marmi
ph. +39 0584 874030 - 0584 89671
For almost 40 years, the starred restaurant Lorenzo in Forte dei Marmi has been an institution for those who love good food, with fish as a workhorse, but not only, because the owner Lorenzo Viani does not compromise on one thing: everything must be fresh and the protagonist of the dish. Chef Gioacchino Pontrelli has been leading the kitchen for many years and he transforms the raw material with care and passion, without betraying its nature and exalting its taste. In the two wine lists, one dedicated to the national production and the other to the foreign one, it is possible to find famous names and more niche labels. Each bottle is then described with the passion of Lorenzo and his daughter Chiara for the world of wine, and is the ideal complement and accompaniment to the refined proposals of the kitchen.
Filippo Forte dei Marmi
Via Sant'Elme 6 - Forte dei Marmi
ph. +39 0584 81376
One of the most popular restaurants in Pietrasanta, Filippo, last summer also landed in Forte dei Marmi. Filippo Di Bartola, founder of the restaurant that bears his name, began this adventure with Andrea, in the kitchen, and Lara, at the wood-burning oven, because pizzas were immediately a new element in the kitchen, in addition to the more traditional fish dishes. A young and cheerful room that frames a trattoria in Fortemarmino style freely interpreted by Filippo.
Ristorante La Bussola - Versilia
Viale Roma, 44 - Marina di Pietrasanta (LU)
ph. 349 1993837
Bagno La Bussola's restaurant is part of the famous Bussola di Focette opened in 1955 by Sergio Bernardini. What has been and continues to be the temple of music is now also a reference point for beach cuisine, informal but genuine in its products and in the proposal of its dishes. The fish is always fresh, the vegetables come from the restaurant's own garden, and the bread and desserts are homemade. Versilia cuisine, in short. The wine and champagne list is important. To choose a table under the curtains or under the traditional canniccio, it is best to rely on the manager, Alessandro. Next Easter, open Saturday, Sunday and Monday during the day.
Viale Italico - Forte dei Marmi
ph. 0584 82878
For more than 100 years, Bagno Silvio has been the ideal destination for those looking for tasty fish dishes made with refined, zero-km ingredients. Still run by the Dazzi family who have handed it down from generation to generation, you can't go to Silvio's without trying its anchovy, raw fish, spaghetti with clams or the memorable imperial fried fish with a regular change of evo oil. For Easter Day, alongside the historic fish dishes that favour cuttlefish in this period, the traditional roast lamb with potatoes.
Viale Italico, 85 - Forte dei Marmi
ph. +39 0584 880397
The restaurant of Bagno Gilda, a few steps from the center of Forte dei Marmi, is a charming place where you can enjoy a lunch or dinner on the sea with fresh fish. Managed for 40 years by Mr. Tabarani and Mr. Di Giovanni, its winning formula is based on friendly family management. At the helm, Chef Sauro Antonioli, with a three-starred background, has revolutionized the cuisine by creating international dishes, but always original, simple and light. The wine list includes a vast selection of local and national labels and champagnes of the best brands. Surrounded by the intense green of the Mediterranean scrub.
Bagno Santa Maria
Viale Italico, 9 - Forte dei Marmi (LU)
ph. +39 0584 81177
Bagno Santa Maria was bought by the Pinzauti family who fell in love with this little gem that has remained unchanged over the years. It retains the Fortemarmian style of the early 1960s with its traditional tamarisk trees and green wooden cabins that protect the interior lounges from the wind. The restaurant offers simple but carefully prepared dishes for a lunch overlooking the sea where spaghetti with clams is a must.
Via del Marzocco 19 - Pietrasanta (Lu)
ph. +39 0584 300 272
In the small rooms inside, you can sense a reference to the Giacomo style, a timeless elegance, discreet and not brash. The real protagonist in the kitchen? The fish, fresh daily, brought in by local fishermen and ready to be brought to the table, once chosen from the inviting counter on display, which dominates the main dining room. Each dish is cooked impeccably to bring out the quality of the carefully selected ingredients, touching them as little as possible, as is Giacomo's philosophy. If the menu is tempting, it is also interesting to be "hooked" by the off-menu items, with a large selection of carpaccio, tartare and fish of the day in various preparations. The wine list, created ad hoc by the sommelier, is large and select.
Via della Repubblica, 14 - Forte Dei Marmi
ph. +39 0584 89879
A unique sea-flavored experience at Ristorante Bistrot. Open kitchen, elegant rooms with a design vaguely inspired by the colonial style and a cool summer terrace, accompanied by jazz music. The culinary proposal is a continuous research that starts from the tradition of aromas and flavors of the territory, where sea and mountains meet, reinterpreted in a contemporary way through the creative gesture of the chef. In the cellar it is also possible to book exclusive private dinners.
Viale Ammiraglio Morin 67 - Forte dei Marmi
ph. +39 0584 783636
The starred restaurant Lux Lucis is located on the terrace of the Hotel Principe Forte dei Marmi, in a beautiful landscape between mountains and sea offering a panoramic view of the city's pine trees and the Apuan Alps. It is the home of Chef Valentino Cassanelli. His dishes are a free expression of Italian cuisine, with an unbridled creativity, derived not only from his experiences, but also from the rich biodiversity present in the coast of Forte dei Marmi.
Viale Achille Franceschi, 29 - Forte dei Marmi
ph. +39 0584 1786241
A corner of paradise on the most exclusive beach, the Maitò restaurant has been a wonderful meeting place for lovers of Forte dei Marmi since the 1960s and over the years has maintained its typical Versilia characteristics. Elegant and relaxing atmosphere, where you can taste not only fish dishes but also appetizing meat dishes, pizzas and focaccia cooked in a wood-burning oven.
Osteria del mare
Viale Franceschi, 4 - Forte dei Marmi
ph. +39 0584 83661
Near the historic center of Forte dei Marmi, near a typical Versilia style bathroom, we find the Osteria del Mare. An elegant restaurant that offers a sea-flavored cuisine. Don't miss the tagliolini with red shrimp, shelled clams and zucchini flowers or the lobster salad with grilled lobster, crudités of vegetables, crustacean mayonnaise and orange sauce.
Street, Viale Sergio Bernardini, 660 - Lido di Camaiore
ph: +39 0584 166 083
Angelo Torcigliani's new challenge is a stone's throw from the sea, right on the beach. A new page in the gastronomic adventure of this enthusiastic chef from Versilia, who has decided to give a turn to his cuisine. The restaurant has been completely renovated, with about forty seats overlooking the sand. The room is all glass, and there is also an outdoor space. Ristorante il Merlo is open for lunch and dinner. Of course, since we are by the sea, the menu includes fish dishes. In fact, there are mostly fish dishes even if some of Torcigliani's great classics (pigeon with black cabbage cooked in pork netting) endure.
Viale Franceschi, 2 - Forte Dei Marmi
ph. +39 0584 1716337
Pesce Baracca is a place with three souls: not only fishmonger and street food but also a restaurant a few steps from the beautiful beaches of Forte dei Marmi. The menu is dictated by the sea and offers a simple, immediate, informal but also attentive to the tradition of classic cuisine. There are first courses prepared with fresh homemade pasta, the inevitable spaghetti allo scoglio prepared with the classic family recipe, handed down from generation to generation since the opening of the first restaurant in 1964. The peculiarity of the restaurant is certainly the possibility to choose fish and shellfish directly from the fishmonger's counter.
Via della Repubblica, 2a - Forte dei Marmi
ph. +39 0584 82931
The Fratellini's is a unique place that was born from the bet of two brothers. David and Marco Vaiani have, in fact, synergistically combined their passion for cooking, giving rise to a trendy and dynamic reality, and bringing to the table works of art capable of triggering multi-sensory experiences. A new way of looking at cooking that gives the possibility to freely choose how, what and when to eat and drink. You must absolutely try the sushi, but also the raw food and the exquisite first courses.
Pozzo Di Bugia
Via Federigi, 544 - Querceta
ph. +39 0584 743696
At the foot of the Apuan Alps we also find Pozzo Di Bugia. A luxury restaurant with a truly unique atmosphere. The interior, intimate and original, in summer opens into a beautiful garden with olive trees for a magical atmosphere.
