Pitti Uomo 109 at the Fortezza da Basso from January 13 to 16, 2026
Everything is ready for the winter edition of the event dedicated to international menswear
From January 13 to 16, 2026, Florence will host the 109th edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, the most prestigious international fair dedicated to menswear, at the historic Fortezza da Basso. The event cements the city’s status as a global capital of men’s fashion, with over 700 brands on display, approximately 44% of which are international, alongside a calendar packed with novelties, events, and exclusive installations.
“Each edition of Pitti Uomo is the result of research, travel, and connections that our team weaves together by studying the main fashion scenes in depth, going directly to meet designers and brands to see how they work, how they move, and how they are perceived,” comments Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine. “With the same care, we visit stores and department stores, listening to their different needs. Pitti Uomo is born from this observation and, consequently, from the insight into how supply meets demand. That is why coming to Florence represents real opportunities, especially at a time of undeniable transformation.”
Pitti Uomo 97Motion: The Theme of Pitti Uomo 109
The winter edition revolves around the theme Motion, a symbol of dynamism, transformation, and progress. The advertising campaign was entrusted to Chris Vidal and Tuomas Laitinen of SSAW, who interpreted the theme through black-and-white photography, capturing the fluid elegance of Soshiotsuki garments in a fleeting moment of movement, like a frame from a sequence behind the camera.
Fortezza Mood On
The exhibition spaces of the Fortezza da Basso become an integral part of the visitor experience. Among the most anticipated installations:
Ancient/New Site by Marc Leschelier: located in the central area of the Fortezza’s Piazzale, this site-specific architectural work intertwines multiple languages, breaking the traditional rules of architecture.
Futuro Maschile and Piano Attico: redesigned by DWA - Design Studio, these spaces create a dialogue between contemporary menswear and environments specifically designed to highlight innovation.
HiBeauty: a section dedicated to niche perfumery, featuring 10 independent European and Asian brands, bringing a cross-over between fashion and lifestyle into the Futuro Maschile pathway.
