Pitti Uomo 105
January 8, 2024

Pitti Uomo 105 at the Fortezza da Basso from 9 to 12 January 2024

Florence once again becomes the capital of men's fashion and lifestyle

The winter edition of Pitti Uomo, number 105, takes place at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence from 9 to 12 January 2024. Not only a showcase of excellence for the Fall/Winter 2024-2025 collections, but also a place that mirrors the trends, creativity and new instances that cross society. Important were the choices as Guest designers of Luca Magliano and Steven Stokey-Daley, two young creatives who bring to Pitti Uomo much food for thought, in addition to the spectacle of their fashion.

"Pitti Uomo is to all intents and purposes an unmissable moment of confrontation that makes Florence a leader in the sector of events dedicated to fashion," comments Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine. "In a unique and spectacular setting, which brings together all the protagonists of the international fashion scene, Pitti Uomo offers the possibility of a unique overview of the new collections and to obtain useful feedback on the trend of the markets and the main creative scenes. The Pitti team's scouting work has been capillary and, as always, we are convinced that the Florentine setting will bring additional value to the special projects on the calendar".

PittiTime is the new theme of the winter fairs. Time is not something that flows uniformly, from the past towards the future, measured exactly by clocks, but accelerates, decelerates, seeks a rhythm. A bit like fashion. That is why PittiTime is the theme of the Pitti Immagine winter salons.

PittiTime

"Nothing resembles Pitti Uomo more than time scanning which, punctually, arrives every season to propose, present, compare, anticipate, change," comments Agostino Poletto, General Director of Pitti Immagine. "And fashion also reflects on time, accelerating the collections in syncopated sequences of capsules, stabilising in the timeless, defining the quiet luxury of garments that do not pass, in the continuous search for an identity heritage as a sign of continuity".

Among the novelties is NEUDEUTSCH, a project created for Pitti Uomo by Julian Dynov, creative director and trend scout. A special showcase, in the Hall of Nations, displays garments, design objects and lifestyle proposals signed by 17 brands, bringing the atmosphere and creativity of the most contemporary German scene to the Fortezza.
