Mandatory outdoor masks in Florence: here's where and when

From 10 to 22 in the main streets of Christmas shopping

In Florence has triggered the obligation of masks outdoors from 10 am to 22 at night in some areas of the city considered more at risk of assemblages for Christmas shopping, an obligation that will be valid in 18 days of December in which it is expected greater influx of people. In addition, there will be one-way pedestrian traffic in the 3 days of Christmas shopping in Via Calzaiuoli and Via Calimala and a four-day stop for cars in Via Gioberti.

The "safe shopping" ordinance will be valid from 4 to 12 December, from 17 to 19, from 23 to 26, and on 30 and 31 December 2021 from 10 am to 10 pm.

The areas concerned include: the 'Quadrilatero Romano', delimited by the perimeter, also included in the same, formed by Piazza Duomo - Piazza S. Giovanni - Via de Pecori - Via dell'Agli - Piazza Antinori -Via Tornabuoni-Piazza S. Trinità - L.no Acciaioli - Via Por S. Maria - Ponte Vecchio - Via Vacchereccia - Piazza della Signoria - Via de Gondi - Via del Proconsolo and in Piazzale degli Uffizi, in Via dei Neri, in Piazza San Lorenzo and Via Borgo San Lorenzo; in Piazza Santa Croce, in Via Gioberti, in Borgo La Croce, in Via Pietrapiana, in Piazzale Oriana Fallaci with access from Viale Strozzi and Piazzale Caduti dell'Egeo (the garden of the Fortezza) and at the San Donato Shopping Center.
