Tuscany becomes orange zone again

Anti-Covid measures are relaxed by Sunday 6 December

It is official, the President of the Region of Tuscany Eugenio Giani has confirmed that from Friday, December 4 Tuscany will return to the orange zone. Announcing that, if the data continue to have this positive trend, already from the following week, so already from December 11, we could even return to the yellow zone and celebrate Christmas with a lunch in our favorite restaurant.

But let's see what changes with the transition from the red zone to the orange zone:

We will no longer need the self-certification form for travel in your municipality, but only for out of the ordinary and out of the region.

We will reopen all stores, including beauty centers and craft stores. Precious news on the eve of one of the most beloved festivals.

Reopen sports centers (not gyms and swimming pools).

They reopen the sports centers (not the gyms and swimming pools). They return to teaching in the presence of the first and second grade.

The following rules remain in force:

bars, restaurants and pastry shops remain closed 24 hours a day, excluding catering and canteens. Granted the take-away service (only until 22 and with no consumption on site or nearby) and home delivery.

Restriction of the movement of people from 10 pm to 5 am (a possible extension of time for Christmas evening), hourly interval within which it will be necessary to prove the movement, for reasons of work, necessity or health, through a self-certification;

closing of exhibitions and museums;

closing of theaters and cinemas;

100% distance teaching for secondary schools, with the exception of laboratory activities to be carried out in attendance;

in-presence activities for kindergartens (kindergartens), primary and secondary schools (middle schools), where, however, the mandatory use of masks remains, with the exception of children under 6 years of age;

closure of shopping malls on both festive and pre-festive days;

closure of gyms, swimming pools;

filling limited to 50% of the capacity on public transport of local and regional rail transport;

closure of the gaming and betting corners at bars and tobacconists;

allowed only events and competitions recognized as being of national interest by order of CONI and CIP, inside sports facilities used behind closed doors or outdoors without the presence of the public;

confirmed the recommendation, already contained in previous measures, not to move, by public or private transport, except for work, study or health reasons.
