Panificio Becagli

The Becagli bakery is a family history. It was opened in 1909. It is known above all for its excellent pastry making: ricciarelli, panforte, oven baked cakes, cenci, fritters, doughnuts according to the seasonal tradition. Eleven people are employed in this small bakery to prepare thirty different types of bread, the oil schiacciata which is baked many times during the day, and the real Tuscan bread. The Becaglis can boast to be the bread supplier of the best and most prestigious coffee bars in Florence such as the Gucci Museum cafeteria.
