The best restaurants for a lunch in Florence

Restaurants closed since 6 pm? Here are the addresses for lunch in the centre of Florence

As you know, since the last Dpcm on 25th October, Giuseppe Conte has signed a new decree, in force until 24th November, where the closure of public places, including of course restaurants, remains fixed at 6pm.
So the time has come to give you our top list where you will find a lunch with flakes, in the heart of Florence. Remember: consumption at the table is allowed for a maximum of four people per table, unless they all live together.

Goldsmith's Hole
Via dei Girolami, 28/r
ph. +39 055 213619
Every day, from 12.30 pm to 3 pm
This is one of the smallest holes in Florence, open since 1945. If you order the ribollita, the Sangiovannese stew and the fried chicken, rabbit and artichokes you will not regret it, but the real cults are the artichoke pie (in winter and spring) and the pork arista with potatoes. Close with candied cooked pears and you're done.

Lapi Hole
Via del Trebbio, 1/r
ph. +39 055 213768
At the moment Saturday and Sunday, from 12.30 pm to 3 pm
Open kitchen, rustic atmosphere representative of the maximum Tuscan expression, on the walls posters recalling the history of the place, when the fiaccherai used to stop here to drink a glass of wine and eat a bowl of tripe served on a newspaper sheet. Lots of proposals on the menu, among the must are charcoal steak and homemade pasta and desserts.

Outside Dehor with wonderful views of the Lungarno, impeccable service, among the dishes you can't miss are Taglierini au gratin at Harry's Bar, Shrimp Tails with curry, Beef Tartare. During the week, for lunch, interesting vegetarian and coeliac proposals. A tip, don't leave without having tasted the historic Bellini cocktail. The delivery service is active, with dishes that can be ordered by 7 p.m. for dinner, except on Sundays.

For the lunch formula a new bet: it is called Ora d'Aria Lab and provides a lighter menu that does not renounce to the extreme quality, of Tuscan matrix but with inspirations coming from all over the world. Maximum capacity: 26 place settings. After 4 p.m. the "Ora d'Aria a casa" proposal is activated with dishes that can be assembled directly at home. Takeaway at lunch time.

The oil and wine 'of the house' are the organic ones from the Il Peraccio farm produced by Francesco, Chiara's brother. Wide choice of vegetarian and gluten-free.
