Two siblings, Claudio and Claudia Pistocchi, have been working together in their Florentine workshop for almost 30 years. This year there are many eggs produced with innovative designs: from the elegant striped egg and the leaf egg to more complex creations such as the half-egg with pistachio and bunny. Not to be missed are the eggs decorated with almonds and other dried fruits. Despite the new moulds used to make Easter eggs, the recipe remains linked to tradition. Also not to be missed are Sicilian pistachios covered with white chocolate, sweet orange and salt. Not to be missed is the white chocolate cake with apricot and cognac, which won a World Gold in 2018.

For lovers of dark chocolate, the Cioccolateria Ballerini, which uses 75% high-quality dark chocolate for its eggs, is not to be missed. Of course, for those with a sweet tooth, there are also eggs made with milk or white chocolate. The creativity of this chocolate shop is truly great: from ladybird eggs to penguin eggs. However, there are still the unfailing eggs decorated with delicious mixes of dried fruit... beautiful to look at and delicious to eat! A must during this period is the limoncello dove. The Pan di Lino, a leavened pastry soaked in vinsanto and sultanas, is a must throughout the year.

Rivoire's strength lies in the fact that it is the producer of the chocolate it sells. Unfortunately, due to renovation work, there will be no Easter products. However, the delivery service remains active, by consulting their online shop. The brand's flagship product is the exclusive Water Chocolate recipe. This is a solid cream with a unique taste and texture, accompanied by an elegant silver spoon. Don't miss their hazelnut and bronte pistachio spreads.

Caffè Rainer is the only Austrian pastry shop to open in 2011 in the heart of Florence. Although there is no Easter news this year, the pastry shop remains active for take-away. Here, the love of chocolate is combined with experimentation and creativity. The most popular product is certainly the Sacher Torte, which is also revisited in praline form. Not to be missed are the mignons with dried fruit and dark chocolate, handmade with selected products. Don't miss the sour cherries and chocolate-covered orange peels.
